the room felt dated. furnishings were worn and mismatched. the small television seemed out of place. i found the lack of attention to detail disappointing for a hotel of this supposed caliber. the air conditioning struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature. this made sleeping difficult at times.

the staff welcomed me with such warmth, it was like returning home. the room was very clean and faultless. (i especially liked the little chocolates!).
the air conditioning did not cool the room as much as i prefer. also, i found some spiderwebs on the ceiling in my room. (i must admit, i'm quite the perfectionist!).

the staff were good. the heated pool and jacuzzi were a bonus, i found i could easily walk to nearby cafés. the views extended across the old city. i walked through the grounds, it all felt quite special.
The air conditioning cooled the room by only a few degrees. It could pose an issue during the hotter months.

My room featured particularly nice linens. the room size was generous. the bathroom was large. the bed provided great comfort. I appreciated that a lot after long days.

Breakfast included a great selection to start the day. It was served either indoors or outdoors. the breakfast carried me through a full day of sightseeing. It was more than enough. the dinner i had was also top notch.
